The "Spring Volunteer Program - Connecting Truong Sa"
(Baonghean.vn) - Yesterday, January 13th, the Quynh Luu District Youth Union and the Hanoi Industrial Sector Youth Union organized the "Spring Volunteer Program - Connecting Truong Sa" and signed a cooperation program to establish fraternal ties and provide assistance to 20 families in the district whose members are officers and soldiers serving in the Truong Sa archipelago and the DKI platform.
According to the signed agreement, the Executive Committee of the Quynh Luu District Youth Union is responsible for understanding the specific situation of each family, identifying their needs for support, sharing information, and regularly informing the Hanoi Industrial Bloc Youth Union to organize volunteer activities to help families with relatives serving in Truong Sa; organizing visits and gift-giving on holidays; assisting, caring for, and supporting elderly parents; sponsoring, caring for, and supporting the education of children of officers and soldiers; writing letters and making phone calls to inquire about and encourage soldiers; and providing vocational guidance and job placement assistance for soldiers after completing their service and returning to their hometowns.

Gifts were presented to 20 families whose relatives are serving in the Spratly Islands.
On this occasion, the Hanoi Industrial Sector Youth Union presented Tet gifts to 20 families of officers and soldiers serving in the Truong Sa archipelago and the DKI platform, with each gift worth 1.5 million VND, totaling 30 million VND.
This is a highly meaningful activity demonstrating the pioneering role of young people in implementing the Resolution of the 10th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on the "Vietnam Maritime Strategy to 2020"; contributing to the dissemination and education of young people about the task of protecting the Fatherland; and promptly encouraging officers and soldiers to confidently protect the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
