Program "Spring Volunteer - Connecting Truong Sa"
(Baonghean.vn) - Yesterday, January 13, Quynh Luu District Youth Union and Hanoi Industrial Union organized the program "Spring Volunteer - Connecting Truong Sa" and signed a program to coordinate twinning activities, helping 20 families in the district with officers and soldiers working in Truong Sa archipelago and DKI platform.
According to the signed program, the Quynh Luu District Youth Union Executive Committee is responsible for grasping the specific situation of each family, identifying the needs for support, sharing and regularly informing the Hanoi Industrial Union to organize voluntary activities to help families with relatives working in Truong Sa; organize visits and give gifts on the occasion of holidays; help, care for, and support elderly parents; sponsor, care for, and support the learning conditions of children of officers and soldiers; write letters, call to inquire about, and encourage soldiers; provide vocational training orientation, and introduce jobs to soldiers after completing their service and returning to their localities.

Giving gifts to 20 families with relatives working in Truong Sa
On this occasion, the Hanoi Industrial Bloc Union presented Tet gifts to 20 families of officers and soldiers working in Truong Sa archipelago and DKI platform, each gift worth 1.5 million VND, total value 30 million VND.
This is a meaningful activity demonstrating the vanguard role of youth in implementing the Resolution of the 10th Party Central Committee on "Vietnam's Marine Strategy to 2020"; contributing to propagating and educating young people about the task of protecting the Fatherland; promptly encouraging officers and soldiers to feel secure in protecting the sacred sea and islands of the Fatherland.
