Converting Nghe An's D4 and N5 roads into National Highway 7C

Implementing Decision No. 2291/QD/2018 of the Ministry of Transport on converting provincial routes D4, N5 and 538N in Nghe An province into National Highway 7C, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the Department of Transport and the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone to perform the following tasks:

The Department of Transport shall preside over and coordinate with the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board and the Department of Finance to carry out procedures for transferring road traffic infrastructure assets from the local to the central level in accordance with regulations; and guide the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to complete records and documents for transferring road traffic infrastructure assets from the local to the central level in accordance with regulations.

Assign the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board to direct the construction unit to speed up the progress of completing the investment project to build the D4 and N5 routes to soon complete the construction items for acceptance and put into operation and use. For completed projects, promptly complete the settlement documents for approval.

Direct the management units of D4 and N5 to perform well the continuous maintenance management work to ensure traffic safety until the handover of National Highway 7C to the Vietnam Road Administration is completed.

The N5 and D4 roads passing through the Southeast Economic Zone are invested by the Southeast Economic Zone Management Board. Of which, N5 road is 4.9 km long, with a total investment of over 758 billion VND; D4 road is 7.1 km long, with a total investment of 748 billion VND; the road surface is 56m wide.
