Polish expert says Ukraine is completely dependent on outside help
(Baonghean.vn) - President Volodymyr Zelensky is hoping that the US will not recognize Ukraine's defeat and will continue to help Kiev, Polish political scientist Jacek Bartosiak commented.

Mr. Bartosiak told Radio Wnet that President Zelensky hopes that the team of his US counterpart Joe Biden will not admit defeat in Ukraine and will continue to support the Eastern European country. "Now there is a political battle going on over who can be held responsible for the failures on the front. Currently, Ukraine is completely dependent on outside help, especially from the United States. So the Americans are deciding how this conflict will develop in the next few months," the expert concluded.
In another comment, former US Marine officer Brian Berletic said that NATO may be preparing to intervene in western Ukraine, just like the US did in Syria. "We see how desperate things are in the US. A potential NATO intervention in western Ukraine is possible, to create a buffer zone like in Syria," the US military expert explained. In addition, Mr. Berletic said that Russia can prevent attacks from NATO. Therefore, in his opinion, Moscow is currently "stockpiling missiles" to prevent such a threat.
Meanwhile, the Washington Post called the decision of the new Slovakian cabinet to block a shipment of ammunition worth more than 40 million euros to Ukraine the first concrete sign of growing fatigue among NATO countries that support Kiev. The Slovak government, headed by Prime Minister Robert Fico, has rejected the previous cabinet's proposal to send another military aid package to Ukraine worth 40.3 million euros, mostly ammunition. This military aid package is said to be the 14th from Slovakia. Since the start of the conflict in Ukraine, the republic has sent Kiev weapons, ammunition and equipment worth 671 million euros./.
