Russian expert talks about anti-Vietnam terrorist organization in the US
The world has added a terrorist organization. As announced by the Vietnamese government, it is an organization of Vietnamese people who immigrated to the United States after the fall of the Saigon regime in 1975.

Claiming the name of the "Provisional National Government of Vietnam", this group organized a fighting group in Vietnam to carry out terrorist acts. The Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security declared: anyone who participates, propagates, attracts, incites others to participate, sponsors, receives sponsorship; attends training courses; operates under the direction of this organization... will be considered illegal and will be handled according to the provisions of the Vietnamese Penal Code for the crime of terrorism.
Such a policy is completely correct, stemming from the concern for protecting national security of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam government. That is the opinion of the leading expert on Vietnam studies in Russia, Professor, Doctor of Science Vladimir Kolotov, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Institute of Saint-Peterburg State University in an interview with Sputnik. At the same time, expert Kolotov noted the following points:
Recently, in a series of tabloids and some Vietnamese social networking sites, there has been a claim that cooperation with the United States helps strengthen Vietnam's security and position in the international arena. The authors of such articles deliberately turn a blind eye to the obvious fact that almost all organizations that engage in extremist activities in Vietnam and that the Vietnamese State classifies as terrorists are headquartered in the United States. In addition to the so-called "Provisional National Government of Vietnam", there is also the "Free Vietnam" movement, the Vietnam Democratic Party, and the "Viet Tan" group. The United States is also a refuge for members of the "Khmer Krom" movement, which pursues the goal of separating the entire southern territory from the Vietnamese component, and the so-called "Degar State" project, which since the First Indochina War has aimed to incite ethnic minorities in Vietnam against the central government in the country.
Professor Kolotov commented: "Vietnam is well aware of the danger of terrorism to its country. Terrorist organizations are named, and their accomplices are criminally prosecuted. But there is a complicated problem: the United States is the headquarters of the "Provisional National Government of Vietnam" and similar gangs.
