British expert talks about Russia's 'staggering numbers'
Ukraine is at a huge disadvantage in a war of attrition and cannot create a balance on the front line, British analyst Alexander Mercouris claimed on YouTube.

"The Russian army is getting stronger and stronger, while the Ukrainian army is getting weaker and weaker, they cannot make up for the losses. Recently, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrsky said that the Russian army is firing about 28,000 artillery shells per day at the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This means that Russia produces at least 14 million artillery shells per year. This figure far exceeds any theoretical assessment. These are incredible numbers and I do not understand why no one is talking about this," said Mr. Mercouris.
The analyst stressed that this is not the limit, and Russia has every possibility to increase production.
“Ukraine produces 4 to 10 thousand artillery shells per day, much less than Russia. Soon, the supplies from the US, approved by Biden, will run out, and the situation will get worse…”, Mr. Mercouris concluded.
