Expert comments on US threat to “destroy” Russian missiles
Military expert Viktor Litovkin commented on the words of US Permanent Representative to NATO Kay Bailey Hutchison, who earlier said that Washington would destroy Russian-made missiles that violate the terms of the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty, RT TV channel reported.
According to the expert, Washington representatives make such statements to "hide their violations of the INF Treaty."

The United States in its 2019 military budget allocated funds for the development of cruise missiles that can fly up to 5,500 km, Litovkin recalled. "Such people must resign," Litovkin said. He stressed that other representatives of the US administration, in particular, US Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, made similar statements.
In his opinion, Ms Hutchison's statement could be seen as a way to put pressure on other NATO member countries.
Earlier, the US Permanent Representative to the Alliance, Kay Bailey Hutchison, said that Washington was considering the possibility of destroying Russian missiles at the development stage.
