Free meals were personally delivered to many students by Que Phong High School. This is a gesture of kindness from teachers and benefactors in the area, with the simple wish that candidates and parents can have a delicious and safe meal and have a successful exam.

From the end of May, after the school year ended, the 12th-grade students at Que Phong High School continued their studies as usual.

This is partly to reinforce knowledge and review for students. It's also a way for the school to "keep" students until the exam day, preventing them from dropping out and not returning to school.

In recent days, while many schools only conduct teaching and review sessions during the day, at Que Phong High School, the lights remain on in the evenings. Accompanying the students are teachers and volunteers who have provided hundreds of free extra lessons.

Que Phong High SchoolLocated in a remote mountainous area of Nghe An province, only a small number of students live in the town or nearby communes and can commute daily. The rest live far away and mostly stay in homestays because the school does not have a boarding program.

Normally, students go to school and cook their own meals or eat at local eateries near the school. However, due to the tight exam schedule and concerns about the quality of meals students eat outside, the school plans to organize free meals for students during exam season. Because of the distance and difficult transportation, the number of students whose parents accompany them to the exam site before the exam is very small.

To ensure the program ran smoothly, nearly a week before the exam, Ms. Dau Thi Huong's house (Bac Son block, Kim Son town) became the "gathering point" for food and drinks and was chosen as the location for cooking free meals for the students.

In addition to the school's teachers, the youth union members in the area also participated in this activity. Ms. Lu Thi Hien, a teacher at Que Phong High School, shared: "This morning we woke up at 3 am to start preparing the ingredients for lunch and arranging the cakes and milk so that the candidates could be ready for the morning exam. The work was quite busy, but we felt very happy and fulfilled."

To ensure adequate nutrition for the students, today's lunch menu includes stir-fried chicken, crispy pork, stir-fried vegetables, and sweet potato flower soup with minced meat. All dishes are carefully packaged, portioned, and prepared with food safety in mind.

Teacher Ngo Chien Thang – former Chairman of the school's trade union, said: "Previously, these activities were all organized by the school's trade union. This year, even though the school's trade union has just been dissolved, the teachers in the school still volunteer to participate because this is a practical activity that effectively supports the school's students. In addition, we have also appealed to agencies, businesses, and charitable organizations to provide 360 free meals for the exam candidates."

During the implementation process, we also received enthusiastic support from parents, many of whom actively participated in cooking with us. Our joy came from the fact that the children all praised the meal as delicious, especially after the first exam.LiteratureThis gives the students more motivation to continue conquering other subjects and successfully reach the finish line.
