Beautiful love story on Keo Lum peak

(Baonghean.vn) - For more than 50 years, the fire in the stilt house of Mr. Lu Van The (87 years old) and Mrs. Moong Thi Xet (87 years old) in Xop Lau village, Muong Ai commune, Ky Son district has never once cooled down.

For more than half a century, the younger generation has been filled with admiration when hearing the elderly tell the love story of Mr. Lu Van The and Mrs. Moong Thi Xet more than 55 years ago.

At that time, Lu Van The was only 19 years old, an enthusiastic young man participating in security work in the village. Once, when he went to Cheng village located on the towering Keo Lum peak to do mass mobilization work, The met the mountain girl Moong Thi Xet. After returning home, the love and longing seemed to cling to the Khmu young man. He decided to climb the pass, wade through streams to return to Cheng village to find the flower of Keo Lum peak, and their love arose from there.

For 3 years, every time he missed and visited his lover, Lu Van The had to wake up early in the morning, cross several towering mountains, and walk for almost a whole day to get there. One fine day, The brought 2 silver rings to meet his lover and proposed: "Be my wife, we will share the hardships together".

So, after 3 years from their first meeting, the two became husband and wife, settled down in Xop Lau village and had children.

Although the family has many children, he is busy "carrying prison and the whole village", Mrs. Xet has to worry about every meal but there is never any noise in the house. We love each other for a lifetime, why argue and get angry with each other?"
