The Ministry of Transport has just issued a decision approving the results of contractor selection for package XL04: Construction of section Km419+600 - Km430+000 (including survey, design of construction drawings), North-South expressway component project, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section.

According to the approval decision of the Ministry of Transport, the winning contractor is the consortium of CIENCO4 Group Joint Stock Company - Tan Nam Construction Joint Stock Company - Truong Son Construction Investment Joint Stock Company. The winning bid value of the package is 1,139.53 billion VND (including contingency and 10% VAT). The contract type is based on combined unit price (survey part: According to fixed unit price; Construction drawing design: Lump sum; Construction and installation: according to adjusted unit price). This package uses State budget capital, the contract implementation period is 24 months. This is the second package out of 4 construction and installation packages of the North-South Expressway component project, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, to complete the contractor selection.

Currently, the construction sites of these projects are being vigorously deployed across the country, with CIENCO4 Group contributing as both contractor and investor.

The North-South Expressway component project, Nghi Son - Dien Chau section, is 50km long, passing through Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces. In the completion phase, the project will have a scale of 6 lanes, a 32.25m roadbed, and a design speed of 100 - 120km/h. In the immediate future, in the phased phase, the project will have a scale of 4 lanes, a 17m roadbed, and a design speed of 80km/h. The project has a total investment of about 7,293 billion VND, using the State budget, and the project construction period is about 2 years.
