Australian women's club wants to hire Vietnamese players
Coach Phan Thi Anh Dao shared about the opportunity for Vietnamese female players to compete in Australia. "I am currently the coach of the Brisbane City U23 women's team and assistant for the first team. They are looking to recruit two players from Vietnam. They highly appreciate the potential of some Vietnamese female players. In the National Premier Leagues (women's second division), each club has four "visa player" slots, meaning four foreign players in each team. They do not discriminate on nationality as long as they are outside Australia," said Coach Dao.

Brisbane City Women's Club has expressed interest, however, the team has not been able to guarantee a visa. This is not the first time Vietnamese female players have been invited to play abroad. Previously, Huynh Nhu, Tuyet Dung and Hai Yen received many offers, including a women's club in Portugal in January 2021. All three players had to decline the official invitation from the team named Lank for various reasons, including being affected by Covid-19. Previously, player Tran Thi Hong Nhung played for Chonburi in 2019.
Hanoi Club explains the reason for parting ways with Dinh Trong
"The club prioritizes keeping Dinh Trong. He himself also negotiated with Hanoi first, despite receiving many attractive invitations. However, the negotiation process was unsuccessful," said Hanoi Club Executive Director Nguyen Quoc Tuan.
"There are two reasons. First, the two sides could not find a common voice on the salary. The club really appreciates Dinh Trong, but the salary cap at the team is set at a ceiling that cannot be broken. Second, Dinh Trong wants to find a new challenge, after winning all the domestic titles with the team."

Tran Dinh Trong grew up in the youth training center of Hanoi Club. At noon on February 11, Hanoi suddenly announced that they would part ways with Tran Dinh Trong. The central defender born in 1997 will most likely join Binh Dinh through a three-year contract, receiving a three billion VND signing bonus each season.
Dinh Trong was the key factor that helped Vietnam finish second at the 2018 U23 Asian Cup. Together with Que Ngoc Hai and Do Duy Manh, he created a steel wall in the Vietnamese team that won the 2018 AFF Cup. However, in the past two years, Dinh Trong has been frequently injured and has been out of action for a long time in the national team as well as the V-League. Boss Do Quang Hien believes that Dinh Trong is a "treasure of Vietnamese football" and therefore creates all conditions for his treatment.China team lost the most points in Asia after losing to Vietnam
In the February 2022 FIFA rankings, the Vietnamese men's football team accumulated 6.01 more points but still ranked 98th in the world and 17th in Asia with a total score of 1,218.55 points.
Coach Park Hang-seo and his team maintained their top position in Southeast Asia when they left far behind the second-placed team, the 2020 AFF Suzuki Cup champion Thailand (ranked 112th in the world with 1,160.14 points).
The next positions in the Southeast Asian region are the Philippines (world rank 129, 1,129.91 points), Myanmar (world rank 152, 1,044.56 points), Malaysia (world rank 154, 1,034.53 points), Indonesia (world rank 160, 1,001.61 points)...

One of the factors that helped the Vietnamese team increase their points was the historic 3-1 victory over the Chinese team in the third qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup in Asia. This victory brought the "Golden Star Warriors" important points to make up for the points lost earlier due to the loss to Australia (0-4).
