Sharing the same fate as Ten Hag, coach Van Nistelrooy is about to be fired.
Coach Ruud van Nistelrooy is at great risk of being fired as Leicester City has had a poor performance.
Van Nistelrooy, who was assistant to coach Ten Hag at MU before the coach was fired, left the Red Devils to become head coach of Leicester at the end of last year. The Foxes had a dream start under Van Nistelrooy with a win over West Ham in round 14 of the Premier League on December 4.
However, the "honeymoon" quickly passed. Since then, Leicester City has been playing poorly and falling into crisis. As of mid-February 2025, the King Power team has only won 1 more match in the Premier League, the rest are draws and losses.
Most recently, "The Foxes" fell 0-2 at home to Arsenal on February 15.

In total, Leicester have lost 10, drawn 1 and won 3 of their 14 games under Van Nistelrooy in all competitions, a win rate of just 21.4%. They are currently 19th in the EPL, two points adrift of safety and in danger of relegation.
According to sources from England, if they continue to fail to win the next round (against Brentford at home on February 22), Van Nistelrooy will likely be fired. This is a crucial match for the former Dutch striker, because after that, Leicester will have to face 3 "big guys": Chelsea, MU and Man City.
