Khanh Hoa Club signs contract with former SLNA foreign player

Voinea Petrisor is no longer a strange name to SLNA Club fans as well as those who follow the 2014 V.League season. Previously, this player was on the payroll of V. Ninh Binh and made a strong impression with 4 goals for this club in the AFC Cup tournament. However, Voinea Petriso was only registered by the team to compete in the continental arena and did not have the opportunity to participate in the highest football arena in Vietnam.

In Ninh Binh, Voinea wore the number 7 shirt, the favorite number of Adrian Mutu - the striker Voinea admired since he was a boy. It was also because of admiring Adrian Mutu (who had shone for famous clubs in Italy such as Parma, Inter Milan, Fiorentina...) that Voinea decided to leave Romania for Italy to pursue his dream of becoming a professional football player.

Along with the gambling scandals involving 10 Ninh Binh players, to ensure his future, the Romanian player found a new destination, SLNA Club, and wore the number 77 shirt. He chose this number because at that time, his favorite shirt number was already held by midfielder Ngo Hoang Thinh.

In the remaining half of the season with SLNA Club, Voinea played in 4 matches and scored 1 goal. After the end of the season, this player left Vietnam and moved to play in the Hong Kong First Division in the Sun Pegasus Club until now.

After 4 seasons away, the former SLNA player has returned to V-League in the new shirt of Sana Khanh Hoa BVN. The "coastal city" club is always known as a place to welcome foreign players who are cheap but bring very high quality. The contributions of foreign players have helped this team fly high and finish in a position in the top 3 of V-League 2018.
