At the meeting, the Board of Directors encouraged Club President Vo Thanh Nhiem to continue his duties, but Mr. Nhiem refused and hoped that his resignation letter would be accepted. Therefore, the Board of Directors approved Mr. Vo Thanh Nhiem's ​​resignation letter and added Mr. Nguyen Mon to the position of Acting President of Long An Club temporarily until the end of phase 1 of the 2017 season.

It should be added that Mr. Nguyen Mon had previously worked for Dong Tam Long An football team under coach Calisto, so he has a good understanding of football. Therefore, football people in Long An believe that Mr. Nguyen Mon can perform well in the role of acting chairman.
