Japanese club sends offer to buy Quang Hai
The team currently playing in J2 League - Renofa Yamaguchi wants to borrow or buy the midfielder of Hanoi Club and Vietnam U23 team.
After the 2018 Asian Games, rumors emerged that many foreign teams wanted to recruit Nguyen Quang Hai. However, Renofa Yamaguchi was the first team to send a letter, officially requesting to negotiate the case of the midfielder born in 1997 with Hanoi Club.

"On behalf of Renofa Yamaguchi Club, I am writing this letter to express Renofa Yamaguchi's interest in your player, Nguyen Quang Hai (born April 12, 1997). We hope that this player will become our member in the 2019 season," Renofa Yamaguchi Director Masayasu Ishihara wrote in the letter.
Renofa Yamaguchi is playing in the J2 League - the second-highest league in Japan. In the letter sent, the Yamaguchi City team expressed optimism about the prospect of being promoted to the J1 League after this season.

"Our position in the league is now very good and we have a great chance of being promoted to J1 League next season. For that purpose, we are looking for transfer opportunities in the case of Nguyen Quang Hai," the representative of this club added. "I hope Hanoi Club will create an opportunity for both sides to discuss and negotiate the possibility of borrowing or buying this player."
Quang Hai is considered one of the brightest stars at the 2018 U23 Asian Cup and Asian Games. Recently, there has been news that he has been eyed by many foreign clubs, including two Thai teams Bangkok Glass and Muangthong United and Qatari club Al Sadd.
Hanoi Club has not commented on the above information.
Renofa Yamaguchi was founded in 1949 by a group of teachers, so it was originally called Yamaguchi Teachers or Yamaguchi KFC. They changed to their current name when they joined the J-League in 2006.
The club's home stadium is the 20,000-seat Ishin Me-Life. Two years after turning professional, they won the Chugoku League's fifth division. In 2014, they were promoted to the third division. And thanks to their championship win in the 2015 season, Renofa Yamaguchi was promoted to the second division.
They are currently 12th out of 22 teams in the J2 League.
