The theft occurred at 6:29 p.m. on March 6 at an apartment complex in Nghi Phu Commune, Vinh City (next to Le Nin Street). Taking advantage of the time the apartment building security guards went out to dinner, two subjects broke in and stole two Yamaha Exciter motorbikes.

A few minutes later, the two subjects returned to the apartment building. This time, it was a different subject with a taller body who acted. The subject wore a mask and pretended to be on the phone, then entered the apartment building's underground parking lot to investigate for about a minute before leaving.

Then, at around 6:39 p.m., the subject continued to enter the apartment building's underground parking garage, wearing a mask and pretending to be on the phone. This time, the subject's actions were more obvious, observing and quickly checking the steering wheel locks of some vehicles by touching the steering wheel of the vehicles. After "approving" the vehicle he liked, the subject quickly moved out.

When he was sure that no one was following him, the subject broke the lock and pushed the blue Exciter 150 motorbike out.
