These days, when Nghe An in particular and the Central region in general are preparing to welcome storm No. 10, the video clip of Dao Ngoc Sang (Tan Ky district, Nghe An) singing about the Central region has been shared by hundreds of people on Facebook, once again touching netizens.

Nearly a year earlier, a video clip of the Central region submerged in floodwaters with images of Dao Ngoc Sang singing in the recording studio called “The Central Region in Me” by musician Nguyen Tat Tung had caused a stir on social media.

The song with lyrics that are always directed towards the beloved Central region: “My Central homeland has barren and rocky land, my Central homeland is bustling all year round, my Central homeland is hard-working all year round…”.

Before Dao Ngoc Sang, this song was performed by singers Cao Thai Son and Ho Quang Hieu. However, when Sang sang this song again in October 2016, right on the stormy days in Central Vietnam, he received a lot of compliments and sympathy from listeners.

“Good, warm, touching”, “I have heard Cao Thai Son sing this song but I do not feel the sympathy like you sing”, “So touching, my child, listening to it makes me cry because I miss my homeland…” are the comments of listeners for the voice of the 21-year-old boy from Tan Ky district.

Sharing with Nghe An Newspaper, Dao Ngoc Sang said: “This song is like a small heart of Sang towards his homeland, towards the Central region and sending all his love to the people of Nghe Tinh. I just hope that the people of my hometown will no longer have to suffer the consequences caused by the storm…”.

Dao Ngoc Sang is currently a student at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and is also a freelance singer working mainly in the city named after Uncle Ho. Recently, Sang has been a name that has attracted the attention of fans because of his emotional voice as well as his handsome appearance.

Dao Ngoc Sang once made an impression and became a student of singer My Tam at The Voice of Vietnam 2015. Recently, he also continued to win consecutive championships at reality TV shows such as Perfect Version, Family Duet (with his younger sister) organized by HTV7 Channel.
