Skrtel was unconscious on the field and bit his tongue unconsciously. Immediately, his teammate Ondrej Duda quickly put his hand in his mouth to prevent the 33-year-old player from biting his tongue.
Afterwards, medical staff entered the field to help Skrtel continue playing before leaving the field to make way for Milan Skriniar. In this match, Solvakia won 3-2 thanks to goals from Ondrej Duda (10'), Robert Mak (34') and Erik Pacinda (68'). The two goals of the Golden Temple team were scored by Jakkaphan Kaewprom (42'), Pansa Hemviboon (79').
