There are 8 types of intelligence, which group does your child belong to?

Dr. Howard Gardner, a famous professor at Harvard University (USA), proposed eight different types of intelligence because simply saying “intelligence” is too limited conceptually. When we recognize all the different types of intelligence our children have, we can develop those intelligences fully.

1. Linguistic intelligence

These children tend to be early talkers, they begin to use language by babbling and making up songs and stories, and they are also early listeners who enjoy being told stories and being read to.

2. Logical intelligence

Being quick at arranging blocks can be a sign that your child has logical intelligence.

Your child may not be able to talk yet, but he or she is very quick at arranging blocks or figuring out how to reach the toy on top of the refrigerator. If so, you may be raising a future engineer who can use his or her intelligence to think critically and solve problems.

3. Visual intelligence

Your baby enjoys drawing activities and can remember images he has only seen once. He also tends to enjoy looking at picture books and family photos. These are signs that your baby is developingintelligenceabout the image.

Enjoying drawing is also a characteristic of children with visual intelligence.

4. Bodily intelligence

Your child may walk earlier than other children, ride a bike without much instruction, and even run like a marathon runner. That balance can help your child be suitable for many sports, he may not be able to read yet, but his athleticism and running ability are also among the special things about him.

5. Musical intelligence

Exposing your baby to some toy musical instruments can help discover his or her musical strengths.

Is your child a musical star in the classroom? Does your child often use pots and pans as musical instruments, or likes to sing while bathing? If your child has the above signs, your child has a potential musical ability. You should try to nurture and develop them in the most scientific way because it is not easy.

6. Communication and interaction intelligence

Many children are very good at communicating with pets, often chatting with everyone. Your child easily starts a conversation with strangers or is never sad about going to daycare when he can easily make friends to play with. That is one of the characteristics that shows that your child is very good at communicating and has an attraction to others.

7. Intrapersonal intelligence

Some children are very good at reading their own emotions and thinking deeply about them. They are self-reflective and always know when they are sad, happy or embarrassed and understand why. While many of us work to help our children understand their emotions, some children are naturally aware of their own emotions.

8. Natural intelligence

If your child enjoys outdoor activities or is exposed to plants and insects, he or she may be naturally intelligent.

Does your baby often stare at bugs? Does he like to play in the mud or always want to go outside to run around? If so, he may haveintelligencenatural oriented and fond of trees, gardens, likes to wander around and learn about insects and plants.

From now on, start paying attention to the games your child plays, find out his strengths and identify his intelligence group. Understanding his strengths can help him overcome obstacles and orient himself to success in life later.
