"The leader is Vladimir Putin, who is about 90% of all those who participated in this research, and 94% of those who are sure that they will vote on March 18. In fact, there is no candidate who can compete with Vladimir Putin. The next three candidates are Pavel Grudinin, Vladimir Zhirinovsky and Kseniya Sobchak — about 1-2%. So, we can say that the Crimean people have really made their choice," — Mr. Fedorov said at a press conference on the socio-political situation in Crimea ahead of the presidential election.

Mr. Fedorov emphasized that other presidential candidates would get about 0.1% of the vote each.

According to VTsIOM, survey participants were asked the question: "If the presidential election were held next Sunday and the list looked like this, which candidate would you vote for?"

The study was conducted in Crimea from January 25 to 28. The research method was a telephone survey. Approximately 1,600 respondents aged 18 and over were interviewed.
