Vietnamese bride in Korea stabbed to death by father-in-law
A Vietnamese woman living in northern Seoul, South Korea, was killed due to a family dispute.

South Korean police have charged an 83-year-old man with murdering his Vietnamese bride, the Korea Times reported on June 27.
The man, surnamed Kim, said the reason was his daughter-in-law's "disrespectful behavior" andnot give him money. murderoccurred on June 2.
The Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office said hestabbed his daughter-in-law in the neck and back while she was sleeping. The time of the incidentaround 4am, in an apartment inSeongbuk-gu, north of Seoul, where Mr. Kim and his son and daughter-in-law live.
The victim's husband, 48, discovered his wife's body that same day. Police arrested the elderly man at the scene.Mr. Kim told the police that his daughter-in-law, who came to Korea 10 years ago, and her son had treated him badly.
