The girl who led the ring that brought 16 women to Malaysia for prostitution
Thao connected with relatives in the country, lured girls from the countryside to Malaysia for high-paying jobs, then sold them into prostitution.

On April 26, Tay Ninh Police said they had just coordinated with the Criminal Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and Ho Chi Minh City Police.Caught Lam Thi Thao (27 years old, from Tay Ninh) preparing to take 3 girls (18-30 years old) to Malaysia for prostitution.
According to initial investigation, in 2015 Thao went to Malaysia to work as a waitress in a bar, karaoke bar and directly sold sex.
Two years later, through the introduction of the bar owner,A local man named A Lin discussed with Thao setting up a network to bring Vietnamese women to Malaysia to "entertain guests".
Thao connected with her sister and aunt in the countryside to find beautiful young women with difficult lives who wanted high-paying jobs to introduce to her. The girls were promisedwill work as a restaurant waitress, salary 9-10 million VND a month, but afterAfter leaving the country, they were sold into prostitution.
Thao khai, more than a year of operation, shesold 16 women in Tay Ninh and Dong Thap and Bac Lieu provinces to Malaysia.
Tay Ninh police are coordinating with authorities in neighboring countries to rescue the victims.
