Central Highlands 'Cowherd Girl' Hosts Asian Television Awards

MC Thanh Giang once caused a stir in the online community when she revealed that she was the “leader” of a herd of nearly 100 cows in her youth. Recently, she surprised everyone by becoming the first Vietnamese MC to host the 2021 Asian Television Awards.
Accordingly, Thanh Giang will take on the role of main MC along with other MCs from the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. She said this is truly a great honor for her, a new milestone in her 11-year career as a bilingual MC.

Before the live broadcast to announce the host of the Asian Television Awards 2021 (ATA), Thanh Giang said on Instagram that she had a fun chat with her co-hosts.
“Everyone is beautiful, talented and funny. Before the live chat, I was very nervous because I didn’t know what they were like. After chatting, I feel more confident and comfortable because they are very friendly. Now I have to practice my English to wait to meet my new friends at ATA 2021, along with my seniors in the television industry, and famous Asian artists who will be nominated and honored on the evening of December 10 and 11,” she shared on her personal page.

Although she had "conquered" many major international events taking place in Vietnam, this was the first time she had stepped onto a large international stage.entertainmentand there are also 4 other talented MCs from countries with strong entertainment industries, she really feels no small amount of pressure. |

| With more than 11 years of experience as a bilingual MC, having led many international events, she reminds herself that when doing any job, if she has heart, passion, love and tries her best, she will succeed. |
It is known that the two main honoring nights of the event will take place on December 10 and 11. In Vietnam, viewers can watch the two main nights on Today TV at 7:00 p.m. (Vietnam time), or watch on the Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter pages of the Asian Television Awards.
MC Thanh Giang was born in 1986, graduated with a bachelor's degree from Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics. She won the Bronze Swallow Award 2010, and the 3rd prize in the Favorite TV Show Charming Award 2011. Besides being a bilingual MC, Thanh Giang also participates in reading TVCs for many big brands, is a professional voice actress, and once dubbed the role of Mulan (Liu Yifei) in the movieMulanDisney live action version, role of Preeta in the movieTom & Jerrylive action and other theatrical animated films.
