New type of armor byThe Russian Institute of Precision Engineering manufactured it for the Russian military, Sputnik reported yesterday.In the video, the girl in white armor walks through a minefield without being injured. The armor helps the girl withstand the pressure from explosions and shrapnel.
On his personal Facebook page, PRussian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who is in charge of the country's defense industry, said that "destructive machines" cannot compare with the capabilities of the Russian army. The girl was still safe while wearing armor.
Mr. Rogozin alluded to the blockbuster action movie The Terminator.(Terminator) of Hollywood, the content mentions killing machines from the future. "If a girl can do that, imagine our boys," Mr. Rogozin said.
According to RT, the armor in the video isRatnik, which includes 40 different devices such ascamouflage jacket, body armor, helmet, leg, shoulder, hip protectors, communication equipment, sight, with a total mass of about 20 kg.It is capable of protecting soldiers from grenade fragments, artillery fragments as well as fire resistance for a short time.
Ratnik multilayer bulletproof helmet and bulletproof vest are capable of stopping AK-74 bullets and sniper rifle bullets. Ratnik was first presented to the public at the MAKS-2011 air show.However, Russia has not yet announced the specific time for Ranik armor to be put into service in the army.
