The young girl born in 1987 is known to everyone for her prestigious Dong Tao chicken farming model. Hoa has been interested in Dong Tao chicken since 2013, thanks to websites on the internet, she found Dong Tao chicken really attractive. At that time, the economy was still difficult, but because of her passion and wanting to escape poverty, she ran around everywhere to get 6.6 million VND to buy 110 eggs to incubate.

Hoa shared: “Dong Tao chickens are hard to sell because they are one of the products offered to the king, so the price is very high. I bought 110 eggs from Dong Tao village, Khoai Chau district, Hung Yen province to incubate, but only 50 hatched. At that time, I was very worried about raising and learning at the same time...”.

Persisting in her passion, Hoa took an additional veterinary class at the Do Luong Technical and Economic Vocational College. In addition, she often went online to learn how to care for and raise Dong Tao chickens effectively. In return for Hoa's boldness and diligence, the farming business gradually improved. After only 6 months, the Dong Tao chickens weighed over 2.5 kg, and the roosters weighed from 3 to 5 kg.

Having successfully raised chickens, Hoa was worried about the market. With the price of each chicken reaching millions of dong, even over 10 million dong, Hoa once again had to run around looking for a market. At this time, Hoa often went to Vinh to distribute flyers, contacted restaurants to get her chickens, and regularly advertised her products on Facebook to let customers know.

Up to now, her Dong Tao chicken farm has 500 chickens of all kinds: 100 laying hens, 100 meat chickens and 300 breeding chickens.

To expand the chicken market, Ms. Hoa has expanded the linkage model in Do Luong, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau. After 3 years of building the model, up to now, Ms. Hoa has a stable income of 25 - 30 million VND per month, with revenue reaching 600 - 700 million VND per year.
