On the morning of November 28, the Investigation Police Department, Ky Son District Police issued a Decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Moong Thi Nang (born 1994) and her accomplice Ven Van Tuan (born 1985), both residing in Thao Di village, Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district, for the crime of "Buying and selling children".
According to the Investigation Police Agency, Ky Son District Police said: Previously, in May 2015, the two subjects above lured and brought the victim Chich Thi Que (born 2000), residing in Huoi Lau village, Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district,sell to China, with the amount of 60,000 Yuan, equivalent to 180 million Vietnamese Dong.

On November 19, 2022, victim Chich Thi Que escaped from China to Vietnam and wrote a complaint against two subjects Nang and Tuan. Upon receiving the complaint, the General Investigation Team, Ky Son District Police coordinated with PC02 Department, Nghe An Provincial Police, and Bao Nam Commune Police to investigate, verify, and clarify. Based on the investigation results, Ky Son District Police issued a Decision to prosecute the case, prosecute the accused, and temporarily detain the two subjects for the crime of "Buying and selling children".
The above Decisions have been approved by the People's Procuracy of Ky Son District. The case is being expanded and clarified according to the provisions of law.
