Recently, beauty Pham Ngoc Ha My surprised many people when she took on the role of leading the sub-section "Think differently, Live differently" of the program Chuyen Dong 24h on VTV1 channel, which first aired on April 19.

She had the honor of presenting flowers to US President Donald Trump when he came to Vietnam to attend APEC 2017. Then in 2018, the beauty participated in the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest and entered the top 15.

After graduating from university in 2018, Ha My worked at the Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while also studying for a second degree at Hanoi Law University. Ha My joined the International Department of VTV24 as an editor at the end of last year.

With her increasingly beautiful and mature appearance and the ability to use 4 foreign languages ​​including English, French, Chinese and Korean, Ha My is confident when taking on her new job. She received many compliments after hosting the first 2 episodes of the program "Think differently, Live differently".

Ha My participated in the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest and entered the top 15.

Coming to the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest, Ha My once attracted attention with the story of her determination to lose about 20 kg to "fight" in the national beauty arena. Now, as an editor for VTV, Ha My said that she will continue to make efforts to lose weight scientifically to look more beautiful on screen.

She shared: "I will try to groom myself to be most suitable when on air. However, I will not pay too much attention to my appearance, to the point of having to apply harsh weight loss measures like when I went to beauty pageants."

Surprisingly, Ha My said that the titles of "beauty" or "beauty queen" put people like her at a "disadvantage" when joining the TV station.

"The titles of "beauty" or "beauty queen" are my minus points when working here. When wearing those titles, people will look at me with the prejudice that I do not really want to contribute, strive but only try to be on screen like other "beauties". Therefore, that is the motivation for me to try harder, develop myself more comprehensively and break that prejudice. The beauty confidently said: "In the future, I will definitely prove my ability in a new role".

Ha My got acquainted with the MC job after finishing the Miss Vietnam 2018 contest.

Although before Ha My, there were many beauty queens, runners-up, and beauties who joined VTV and created a reputation for themselves, Ha My said that did not make her feel pressured.

"I know my own capabilities. Although I still have very little experience, I have a strong will and ambition. If I receive criticism, I will accept it and gradually improve myself to become better and better. If I receive compliments, I will not rest on my laurels, but continue to focus on developing my shortcomings. I believe in my own abilities and time will prove it," she said.

“Think Different, Live Differently” has a new, youthful and different format compared to the rest of the newsletter. Ha My was fortunate to be assigned by the center’s leadership to take on the responsibility and be part of the editorial team of this new section. The beauty said that perhaps the desire to innovate and make the newsletter more accessible to young people was the reason she was chosen to participate in co-producing this new section.
