Ukraine's last chance of winning.
Ukraine's last chance might come when Western countries attempt to lift the ban on Ukraine attacking targets on Russian territory.

According to RIA Novosti, the Croatian publication Advance suggests that, in light of the setbacks in the conflict in Ukraine, the West may attempt to make a final decision on lifting the ban on Ukrainian armed forces attacking Russian territory.
“In the current situation, in fact, only one last effort remains, after which the US will have to admit that ideas have run out. We are talking about the plan that Kyiv has long been proposing: Ukraine receiving maximum Western military support, but this would be better if it removed any sanctions against Ukrainian attacks on the territory of the Russian Federation,” the publication Advance stated.
According to Advance, in this case, the Ukrainian Armed Forces would be allowed to attack using any military equipment available in their arsenal.
"In practice, this means Ukraine is allowed to attack Russia with all available means: aircraft, artillery, missiles of various ranges..." – Advance stated.
The article also noted that the Ukrainian attacks are unlikely to change the situation on the battlefield.
“Is there some military logic to this, or is Kyiv simply trying everything they haven’t tried before? More likely, the plan is to give Ukraine one last chance: what Kyiv wants and see what this leads to,” the publication Advance reported.
Earlier, commenting on the plan to allow Ukraine to attack targets on Russian territory, President Vladimir Putin stressed that NATO countries must be aware of "what game they are playing."
According to Advance, regardless of who wins the US presidential election, one question remains – what to do with Ukraine?
In an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo stated that there is "no evidence" to suggest that, if re-elected, former President Donald Trump would push Ukraine toward surrendering to Russia. Pompeo believes that a "successful plan" for Ukraine under the Trump administration in the future could include many different elements.
