Last chance for illegal workers in Korea to voluntarily return home
Illegal workers residing in Korea who voluntarily return home before April 1, 2019, will not be restricted from re-entering Korea.
March 31, 2019 is the final deadline for implementing the special regime for foreign workers residing illegally in Korea to voluntarily return home. Illegal foreign workers (IWL) in Korea who voluntarily return home before April 1, 2019 will not be restricted from re-entering Korea. Workers residing illegally in Korea should arrange to voluntarily return home before April 1, 2019 to enjoy this policy.
* According to information from the Korean Ministry of Justice, as of December 31, 2018, 2,888 Vietnamese workers residing in Korea had returned home, of which 1,855 illegal workers voluntarily returned home and 1,033 illegal workers were deported.

Procedures for voluntary return home
Step 1: Declare on website http://www.colab.gov.vn in the section "Register to declare information of employees working in Korea".
Step 2: Declare to return to your country voluntarily and complete exit procedures at the Immigration Office at the airport. Contact Incheon Airport: +82-32-7407391/2; Gimhae Airport: +82-51-979-1300
