(Baonghean.vn) - This was affirmed by the leaders of the two provinces during the visit and working trip to Nghe An on the afternoon of July 13th by the Hai Duong delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Welcoming and working with the delegation, on the Nghe An province side were Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and leaders of various departments and agencies.

During the meeting, the leaders of the two provinces informed each other about the socio-economic situation of their respective provinces in the first six months of the year. On the Nghe An side, Mr. Le Xuan Dai reported that the gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate in the first six months was estimated at 6.51%, exceeding the planned 8-9%, higher than in recent years and higher than the national average (6.28%). Total social capital mobilization was estimated at VND 19,753 billion, an increase of 13.64% compared to the same period last year. Foreign relations and investment promotion activities showed significant progress with many large projects being implemented. Total budget revenue was estimated at VND 3,960.6 billion, an increase of 13.7% compared to the same period last year.

On behalf of Hai Duong province, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hien also announced some outstanding information about the province's economy, culture, and society. Accordingly, in the first six months of the year, the total product of Hai Duong province reached 27,101 billion VND, currently 15 communes in the province have achieved the new rural standard, and the total mobilized capital reached 22,359 billion VND. He also noted that both Nghe An and Hai Duong have world-renowned cultural figures, namely Ho Chi Minh and Nguyen Trai. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Hai Duong province thanked Nghe An for the warm welcome and extended an invitation for the leaders of Nghe An province to visit Hai Duong in the near future.
Comrade Le Xuan Dai expressed his gratitude for the affection shown by the Hai Duong delegation towards Nghe An and hoped that the two provinces would maintain their good relationship, making it even closer and stronger.
