Every year, 100% of the school's students graduate from high school with a high rate of good and excellent results and are continuously among the top in the country in terms of university entrance exam results with a passing rate of over 98%. In particular, in the cooperative relationship with Japan, the school has many activities contributing to building, developing and strengthening the friendship between Vietnam and Japan in general, and Nghe An and Japan in particular. From the 2016-2017 school year up to now, the school has 2 Japanese classes with 70 students.

Speaking at the meeting, Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan Chuman Ai thanked Phan Boi Chau High School for creating conditions for the delegation to visit and convey to Nghe An students information about scholarships to study abroad from the Japanese Government.

In order to facilitate Vietnamese students, the Japanese Government annually provides full scholarships including tuition, admission fees, living expenses and round-trip airfare. In addition, there are homestay exchange programs, expanding opportunities for students to study and exchange in Japan.

In addition, Ms. Chuman Ai also warned about the situation of some study abroad companies and foreign language centers providing inaccurate study abroad information. Therefore, the Second Secretary of the Embassy of Japan requested that schools pay attention to guiding and providing official information to students.

At the end of the working session, the leaders of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted hoped that in the coming time, Japan will have many effective cooperation programs in the field of education, creating a number of information channels for students to access, consult, look up, and easily choose a school that suits their abilities and aspirations; or organize summer camp programs in Japan so that students have the opportunity to experience reality and improve their Japanese language proficiency.
