Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) treats high blood pressure.
Eleusine indica, also known as Eleusine indica, belongs to the Poaceae family (grass family). It is an annual grass that grows wild in many places, forming small clumps 20-80 cm tall, with very strong roots.
The leaves are soft and strap-shaped, with hairy leaf sheaths. The inflorescence is a terminal spike, with 5-7 long branches radiating evenly from the common stalk, and 1-2 lower branches. Each branch bears many flowers. The fruit is oblong, almost triangular.

According to Traditional Chinese Medicine, Cynodon dactylon (Centella asiatica) has a mildly sweet taste, a cooling nature, and is non-toxic. It is used to cool the blood, clear heat, cool the liver, detoxify, promote urination, lower blood pressure, reduce fever and treat malaria, pulmonary tuberculosis, boils in children, constipation in pregnant women, dry cough, persistent fever in the afternoon, yellow and scanty urination, boils and other heat-related toxins, and oral thrush in children.

Dosage: 16-20g dried or 40-100g fresh, in decoction or pill form, usually used in combination with other herbs.
Cynodon dactylon is used to treat the following conditions:
- Treatment for jaundice and hepatitis: 60g of fresh Centella asiatica, 30g of male ant's nest root, decoct and drink one dose per day, divided into three portions.
- To treat constipation, anxiety, headaches, and nausea in pregnant women: Boil 12-16g of dried Centella asiatica in 300ml of water and drink 2-3 times daily.
- To treat boils, high fever, dengue fever, rashes, erythema, and thrush in children, wash 120g of fresh Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) thoroughly, crush it, and squeeze out the juice to drink. Alternatively, boil 20g of dried Centella asiatica with 400ml of water until only 100ml remains, then divide into two doses.
- To treat internal heat, painful and yellow urination, and skin rashes, boil 40g of Cynodon dactylon grass and drink once a day. You can also add 20g of Imperata cylindrica root to the decoction and drink it throughout the day.
- To treat fever, scabies, and itching: Take fresh Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola) leaves, wash them thoroughly, crush them, and squeeze out the juice to drink. 2-3 times a day.
- To treat high fever with convulsions and coma: Take 120g of Cynodon dactylon (Gotu Kola) herb. Boil it with 600ml of water until only 400ml remains. Add a little salt and give it to the patient in multiple doses over 12 hours.
- To treat bedwetting in children, take 20g of Centella asiatica, 20g of coriander, 20g of Polygonum hydropiper, and 10g of Euphorbia hirta, chop them finely, and boil them to make a decoction to drink after the evening meal.
- To treat colds, fever, skin rashes, and scanty, yellow urine: 16g of Centella asiatica, 16g of Imperata cylindrica. Boil and drink.
- To treat dry cough, persistent fever in the afternoon, fatigue, scanty urination, and yellow urine, take 40g of Centella asiatica (Gotu Kola), decoct it in 200ml of water, and drink it once a day.
-Treatment for high blood pressure: Use 500g of fresh plant, wash thoroughly, crush, and add one bowl of boiled and cooled water. Filter through a cloth and squeeze out the juice, add a little sugar to taste. Drink twice a day, morning and evening.
- To treat high fever, convulsions, and coma: Boil 120g of fresh Centella asiatica in 600ml of water until only 400ml remains, then divide into several doses throughout the day.
- To treat internal heat, painful urination, and yellow urine: Take 40g of Cynodon dactylon (Gotu Kola) and boil it once a day. You can also add 20g of Imperata cylindrica (Imperata cylindrica) root and boil it together to drink throughout the day.
