Hungary has always supported the just cause of the Vietnamese people, in the past struggle for independence and freedom, as well as in the current national development and construction.
Vietnam always remembers and is grateful for the valuable and effective assistance of the State and people of Hungary. Many generations of Vietnamese people have studied in Hungary, many of whom hold important positions in the State apparatus as well as in the economic and social life of Vietnam.
The Vietnamese community in Hungary currently has more than 5,000 people, and each year Hungary provides 200 scholarships to Vietnamese students. This is an important bridge for the increasingly strong relationship between the two countries.
