(Baonghean) - Nghe An currently has 9 car and motorbike driving training facilities; 11 motorbike driving training facilities and 14 joint training facilities; opening driving training classes at the facility has created favorable conditions for people in remote areas. To control the quality of training, the Department of Transport has strengthened teacher management and organized strict testing.

Regarding car driving tests, in addition to the Training and Testing Center in Nam Dan, with socialized capital, there are currently 2 more testing centers in the province (Driver Training and Testing Center No. 1 - Vinh An and PTS Center); this will reduce the load on the center in Nam Dan and create convenience for students to participate in the test. |
Having many driving training centers has created maximum convenience for learners. Some training facilities, if they can arrange teachers and facilities, can even open motorcycle driving training classes in communes in districts.
The testing work has also been strengthened at the grassroots level by the Department of Vehicle and Driver Management. For motorcycle driving testing, the Department has advised the Department to establish a Council and send officers to districts to conduct the testing, helping students avoid having to travel far.
The 9 auto training centers alone can ensure a training capacity of more than 6,700 students at the same time, meeting the needs of learners.

Through discussion, Mr. Tran Anh Tuan - Head of Vehicle and Driver Management Department, Department of Transport affirmed: "With the existing training facility system, specifically for motorcycle driving tests, it is possible to organize them every day, because the Testing Councils have experience and the staff is always ready to go to the localities where training classes have been opened. As for car testing, based on 3 centers with similar functions and tasks with vehicles, the department can proactively regulate to ensure the required progress of car driving training classes of all classes". |
From the beginning of 2017 to the end of May, over 30,000 people were trained and tested to drive all types of vehicles, of which the Department of Transport issued driving licenses for all types of cars to 7,500 people and driving licenses for motorbikes to over 20,000 people. In the first 5 months of 2017, the Department of Transport also issued and renewed nearly 61,000 driving licenses.
Cumulatively, up to now, in Nghe An, there are 631,752 people granted driving licenses of all classes, of which over 500,000 people have been granted motorcycle driving licenses.
Training facilities focus on investing in facilities, improving training quality, and testing to meet the regulations of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs according to the Law on Vocational Training.
To improve the quality of training, the Department of Transport coordinates with the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs to annually inspect and evaluate the quality of teachers and facilities at the centers. At the same time, through tightening the testing process to evaluate the effectiveness and quality of training, from there, there are recommendations to rectify and improve the training and testing of drivers.

Every year, the Department of Transport also organizes the signing of commitments with training facilities, testing centers, and examiners to strictly implement State regulations on improving the quality of training, testing, and granting driving licenses; and publicizing testing fees and prices of other services according to regulations.
Through that, we can also prevent negativity in this field, contribute to improving the skills of drivers participating in traffic, and reduce traffic accidents.
Mr. Tran Anh Tuan added that to continue improving the quality of driver training and testing, the transport sector has strengthened the control of training programs, linking theory and practice.
Periodically inspect facilities, vehicles and equipment, and evaluate the performance of training facilities according to regulations. The industry is also implementing a program to enhance training monitoring equipment, with special attention to inspecting vehicle types during training and testing to meet actual requirements.
Along with socialization in training, increasing autonomy and responsibility of training facilities, the supervision of proper implementation of program content and driver training time according to regulations must be improved.
