The US is studying options to increase sanctions against North Korea if it does not denuclearize, US President Donald Trump's National Security Adviser John Bolton said.

"We're going to look at potential options that North Korea might take. Whether or not Pyongyang has a serious intention to negotiate, whether or not they want to come back to us, and whether or not they're committed to giving up their nuclear weapons program and related programs," Bolton said on Fox News Business.
Mr. Bolton emphasized that if North Korea "doesn't want to do this", US President Donald Trump will not let North Korea escape economic sanctions.
"We are looking at the possibility of strengthening these sanctions," said National Security Adviser John Bolton.
