(Baonghean.vn) - Discovering 3 trucks with signs of violating regulations on load and bed size, the Traffic Inspectorate in Nghe An signaled the vehicles to stop, but the drivers fled.

At 7:30 a.m. on October 23, 2018, Inspection Team 641 of the Department of Transport of Nghe An provinceWhile on duty on the Ho Chi Minh Highway through Tan Ky District, they discovered 3 trucks with license plates: 37C - 26385, 37C - 26480 and 37C - 26822 with signs of violating the permitted load.

When the authorities signaled the vehicles to stop for inspection, the drivers of all three vehicles tried to flee. The task force pursued the vehicles from Tan Ky district down to National Highway 48B in Quynh Luu district before stopping the three vehicles.

Through inspection, these 3 trucks belong to Su Chuyen Transport Service Cooperative with registered business address at Hamlet 2, Quynh Luong Commune, Quynh Luu District.

After inspection, the authorities determined that these 3 vehicles had extended the bed and carried sand 80 cm higher than the permitted height. These vehicles had a permitted load capacity of 16 tons but were carrying a load of up to 36 tons.

When the authorities asked the drivers to get down to work, all three drivers did not cooperate, closed the car doors, barricaded themselves, or left.

Immediately after checking and detecting violations, the authorities drew up administrative violation records for 2 violations of extending the container wall and overloading, and requested representatives of the Su Chuyen Service Transport Cooperative and the driver to be present to work.
