(Baonghean.vn) - Currently, over 40 hectares of spring rice in Con Cuong district are being bitten off by rats. Con Cuong district is mobilizing the entire population to kill rats to protect the crops.

According to statistics from the District Plant Cultivation and Plant Protection Station, currently over 40 hectares of spring rice in some localities have had their roots bitten off by rats, with an average rate of scattered damaged stalks, in high places: 10 - 15% of stalks, in rare cases: 20 - 25% of stalks, in which Don Phuc is the most severely affected locality.
