Con Cuong: More than 800 youth union members launched 'Green Sunday'

(Baonghean.vn) - On October 1, Con Cuong District Youth Union mobilized more than 800 youth union members from local youth union bases to simultaneously launch "Green Sunday".

On this occasion, the youth union members focused on collecting garbage and clearing the roadsides, cleaning up the environment, contributing to handling garbage hotspots, creating a beautiful, green, clean and green environment in the village streets and alleys, and planting hundreds of trees.

Green Sunday is an activity to raise awareness among youth union members as well as all classes of people to join hands in keeping the environment clean. This is also a practical activity to celebrate the 17th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Nghe An province, term 2017-2022.
