Due to the impact of storm No. 4, Con Cuong district experienced heavy rains causing widespread flooding. To ensure the safety of people, the district organized the evacuation of households at risk of landslides and flooding.
Con Cuong district has sent forces to evacuate 55 households and 220 people in flooded areas at risk of landslides and rockslides to safe places. Specifically, Bong Khe commune: 03 households, 9 people; Con Cuong town: 09 households, 34 people; Cam Lam commune: 06 households, 30 people; Chau Khe commune: 19 households, 86 people; Mon Son commune: 02 households, 10 people; Don Phuc commune: 01 household, 04 people; Luc Da commune: 15 households, 50 people.

Water rose high in Ca River, streams, and streams, water from upstream flowed rapidly and rose high, flooding streams and streams in the communes: Mon Son 05 points; Luc Da 03 points; Thach Ngan 11 points; Lang Khe 03 points, Yen Khe 02 points.
Currently, the water level is high and cannot circulate. Isolated locations include: Khe Bung Village, Co Phat Village, Lang Yen Village (Mon Son Commune); Khe Nong residential area (Chau Khe Commune); Thach Son Village, Ke Tat, Pa Ha (Thach Ngan Commune).

Heavy rains lasting for the past 3 days have led to landslides with large volumes of rocks and soil at Cho slope, Lang Khe commune, rolling rocks at block 7/8, Con Cuong town, Vuc Bong waist (Bong Khe commune), Yen Hoa road (Lang Khe commune)...
Water flooded the dormitory of Con Cuong Ethnic Minority Secondary School, causing difficulties for teachers and students with more than 381 students. 15m of the fence of Luc Da Primary School at Lien Son collapsed, 01 high-voltage electric pole next to Khe Ran suspension bridge pier (Bong Khe commune) is at risk of collapsing due to erosion of the foundation. Heavy rain also flooded 41ha of unharvested winter-spring rice, 3ha of sugarcane, cassava... were broken and collapsed.

At 7:00 p.m. on September 20, the bridge pier across Thin village, Luc Da commune collapsed. To ensure the safety of the people, the on-duty team fenced off the village side, while the Khe Soc side was blocked by officers and employees of the Khe Soc Forest Management Station under Con Cuong Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. in coordination with the on-duty force to prevent people from passing. Due to the bridge pier collapse and traffic being cut off, the commune authorities have not been able to access the scene. This is the village's flood-crossing bridge that has been called for donations by benefactors and sponsors to support its construction in 2021, with a total cost of 1.5 billion VND.

Faced with the situation of prolonged heavy rain causing widespread flooding in the district, district leaders directly went to key locations to direct flood and storm prevention and control work, deploying plans with the motto of "4 on-site", and at the same time supporting people to overcome the damage caused by floods.
