Con Cuong summarizes Central Resolution 3 (VIII term)

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of September 7, Con Cuong District Party Committee held a conference to summarize 20 years of implementing Resolution 3 of the Central Committee (VIII term) on cadre strategy in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country.

After 20 years of implementing the Resolution of the Central Committee 3 (VIII term), Con Cuong district has achieved a number of important results. The team of leaders and managers in the two-level political system has a strong political stance, is absolutely loyal to the revolutionary ideal, steadfast in the goals and path that Uncle Ho and our Party have chosen, actively participates in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country, has many advances in capacity and level of leadership and management of the socio-economy, and is dynamic and creative in organization and implementation.

Currently, the Con Cuong District Party Executive Committee has 37 members, the Standing Committee has 11 members, and the grassroots Party Executive Committee has 320 members. From 2011 to 2016, the entire District Party Committee had 73 Party members expelled from the Party. From 2010 to 2016, the entire Party Committee had 101 Party members and 4 Party organizations were disciplined from reprimand and above related to the implementation of the Party's organizational principles and the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities.

The conference also evaluated the work of classifying party members, taking votes of confidence to ensure democratic and public principles, evaluating the work of training and fostering cadres, evaluating the work of appointing, reappointing and introducing cadres to run for election, planning work, work of rotating, selecting, receiving, attracting cadres, work of protecting internal politics, inspection and supervision, implementation of regimes and policies for cadres... From 2010 to now, the whole district has 396 cadres trained in political theory.

The conference also pointed out that the development and implementation of cadre planning, especially at the grassroots level, has not ensured a 3-age structure, only focusing on planning for leaders and managers, and has not paid attention to planning for cadres of the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and Party cells directly under the Party Committee.

Therefore, the quality of staff planning is not high, the proportion of female and young staff is not up to standard, and planning is not linked to training, fostering, rotation, and use of staff, so many places have just completed planning but when doing personnel work, they are still passive, confused, and cannot select staff. Some cases of rotation in different fields and professions limit the contribution of staff to assigned tasks.

The conference set out the goal of personnel work from now until 2030, continuing to build a team of cadres with strong political will, ethics, healthy lifestyle, free from bureaucracy, corruption, waste, resolutely fighting against bureaucracy, corruption, waste.
