Trump's daughter gets presidential protection when she visits India

US President Donald Trump's eldest daughter, Ivanka, will be given presidential protection when she visits India this week, India Express quoted Indian officials as saying.

According toIndia ExpressIvanka, daughter and senior advisor to US President Donald Trump, will lead the US delegation to the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) taking place in Hyderabad, India starting November 28.

Indian officials said that during her stay in India, Ivanka will enjoy the same security protection as a president.

Specifically, she will be transported in three separate vehicles escorted by Indian police. To ensure security for the event attended by President Trump's daughter, India will deploy more than 10,000 police officers.

On the occasion of this event, Ms. Ivanka will also attend a party with Indian Prime Minister Narenda Modi and 100 other special guests on the evening of November 28.

The GES conference is attended by more than 1,200 business leaders, including 350 representatives of US businesses. Other conference guests will have a private party.

As a global business conference, GES is often attended by US secretaries of state. However, this year, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson is not expected to send any senior diplomats to accompany Ivanka. Ivanka will be accompanied by State Department spokeswoman Heather Nauert.

Ivanka Trump is the eldest daughter of President Donald Trump and his first wife, former Czech model Ivana Trump.
