At the end of September 2017, Luong Thi T. invited her mother, Lo Thi S. (born in 1982), and her two sisters, Lo Thi DN and Lo Thi NK, to cross the border to China. However, as soon as they arrived in China, the four victims were tricked and sold to a prostitution den (Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, China), and forced into prostitution.

The four victims did not agree and were kept under house arrest. One day in late October, taking advantage of a loophole, the victims escaped from this location and went to the Vietnamese Consulate in Guangzhou (China) to call for help.

After receiving the victims, the Vietnamese Consulate in China sent the four victims to the Guangzhou Provincial Social Protection Center and sent a diplomatic note to the Nghe An Foreign Affairs Department requesting verification of the identities of the four girls.

Upon receiving the information, the Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police coordinated with Department 6 - Department C45, Ministry of Public Security and Blue Dragon Children's Organization to verify, investigate, receive and bring the 4 victims back to the country safely.

The Criminal Police Department of Nghe An Province Police has contacted and handed over the victims to their families and continues to investigate and clarify the subjects involved in the case.
