(Baonghean) - Not only famous for its scenic spots, historical sites, and breathtaking cave and rock formations, Western Nghe An is also captivating with landscapes created by human hands.

One of the unique beauties born from the passion for labor and creativity of the people is the waterwheel. Made from bamboo, the waterwheels in the highlands help people transfer water to their fields, creating lush green rice paddies. Moreover, they have become a symbol of the identity and tranquility of the villages here. Waterwheels are also a source of inspiration for photographers from Nghe An province when they travel to the Mekong Delta.

We are pleased to present to our readers images of waterwheels in the highlands, brought to you by our contributors: Canh Hung, Sach Nguyen, and Quoc Dan.
