Beckham's son gets special promotion to Arsenal's U18 team

At the age of 15, Brooklyn is gradually showing his ability to continue his famous father's football career.

Brooklyn was called up to Arsenal's U18 squad, in the 1-0 win over Leicester last weekend.

Although in the match taking place at the Hertfordshire training ground, this 15-year-old talent was not allowed to enter the field and only appeared as a substitute player, many British newspapers still said that "this is a clear step forward on the path towards Brooklyn's professional career".

The Under-18s squad is a collection of Arsenal's new hopes, some of whom have already been tested in the first team and even featured in this season's Champions League clash with Galatasaray, such as Stefan O'Connor, Gedion Zelalem and Ainsley Maitland-Niles.

Beckham made his name at Man Utd, but his children are all with Arsenal. Besides Brooklyn, the other two boys are also training in the London team's youth team.
