Donald Trump Jr., the eldest son of the US President, posted a photo depicting his father as Superman on Instagram on October 21 and caused a stir on American social networks over the weekend, HuffPost reported.
In the photo, which mimics the cover of Time magazine, Mr. Trump wears a superhero costume with the letter "T," the first letter of his surname "Trump," printed on his chest. Below is the familiar slogan "Make American great again."
The photo has attracted mixed reactions from internet users. Some people think that this is an exaggerated image of Mr. Trump because in reality, the 71-year-old President's body is not as "standard" as that.
"Another fake Time cover," one internet user said, referring to Time magazine's request that the Trump Organization remove all fake covers of the President from its golf clubs.
However, there are people who support and praise the "Donald Trump Superman" picture.
"I love this picture of this brave heart. We, patriotic Americans, love our President and his family. Long live President Donald Trump!", commented an Instagram account named "patriotic heart".
Earlier this year, Time magazine asked the Trump Organization to stop displaying fake Time magazine covers of Trump at at least four of the president's golf clubs. However, it remains unclear who designed the fake cover or why it was displayed at Trump's golf clubs. A White House spokesman also declined to answer questions about whether the president knew the cover was fake.
