Police temporarily detained the bar owner and 21 people after the raid on the Paris Night Club bar.
After raiding and inspecting the Paris Night Club bar in Phan Thiet City, Binh Thuan Province Police temporarily detained 22 people, including the bar owner, for harboring and organizing illegal drug use.
On May 10, the Investigation Police Agency of Binh Thuan Province announced that it had just issued an arrest warrant to temporarily detain 22 people to investigate the crimes of "Organizing illegal drug use" and "Concealing illegal drug use", which occurred at the Paris Night Club bar, Phan Thiet City.
Among these defendants are Manh Trong Toan (57 years old, from Nghe An) - the owner of the bar and Tran Manh Anh (32 years old, residing in Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city), Pham Hoang Minh - the operator and manager of the bar.

Previously, late on May 1, more than 300 officers and soldiers from professional units of Binh Thuan Provincial Police raided and inspected Paris Night Club bar (Phu Thuy ward, Phan Thiet city), under the command of Colonel Huynh Ngoc Liem - Deputy Director of Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
Here, the authorities caught 5 cases of illegal drug use, with 35 guests at 5 VIP tables of this bar.
Through rapid drug testing of 154 people, police recorded 42 people testing positive for drugs (including the bar manager, staff and 37 guests).
Afterwards, the police seized many exhibits related to the illegal use of drugs, business records, and surveillance cameras.

The initial investigation determined that the Paris Night Club bar was owned by Manh Trong Toan and not directly operated, but assigned to Tran Manh Anh (Toan's nephew) to manage, while Toan used the camera system to monitor and operate general activities.
Every day, Tran Manh Anh and Pham Hoang Minh organize the operation and management of the restaurant and a staff of more than 80 people, most of whom have criminal records, acting as bodyguards, receptionists, and guards.
In the bar, VIP tables are arranged separately, only for regular customers. When customers need to use drugs, they will be facilitated, under the cover of security guards to avoid detection.
The case is being further investigated by Binh Thuan Provincial Police.
