Ms. Tu Anh received an apology from Lieutenant Bac.

Hearing the apology from the local police lieutenant, Ms. Tu Anh shared that she had been under a lot of pressure in recent days and wanted to close the matter.

"Through this incident, I hope that every police officer will learn a profound lesson to treat people properly. I sincerely hope that Mr. Bac will completely correct his behavior," the girl said, wiping away tears.

On behalf of the unit, Captain Nguyen The Anh - Deputy Chief of Trung Liet Ward Police was grateful that Tu Anh accepted Lieutenant Bac's apology. "We would like to learn from this incident to better manage the area," the ward commander expressed.

Regarding the case of Lieutenant Bac being accused of spitting on people, Captain Phan Anh Tu - Head of the General Investigation Team (Dong Da District Police) affirmed that he will continue to investigate and inform Ms. Tu Anh of the results as soon as possible.

Captain Tu said that upon receiving the press's feedback, the district police examined the scene, collected camera images in the building, and recorded statements from those involved.

"Our view is that officers who violate the law will be dealt with according to regulations. We do not agree with the way comrade Bac behaves towards the people," said the captain assigned to verify the incident.

Earlier, on the morning of April 8, social media went viral with a clip showing an argument between Ms. Tu Anh and Lieutenant Bac. The incident occurred when the local police requested an administrative inspection of the apartment the girl from Vinh Phuc was renting. Seeing that Mr. Bac could not produce any documents, Tu Anh did not open the door.

When questioned, Mr. Bac said he did not search the house but only checked the temporary residence. "I suspect there is a wanted person here, please open the door," the man gave the reason.

After shouting, Lieutenant Bac moved his face close to the apartment's iron door. As soon as the officer stepped back, Ms. Tu Anh screamed and was spat on.

On the same day, Dong Da District Police temporarily suspended Lieutenant Nguyen Van Bac from work pending verification.
