Prosecution of illegal possession of drugs

On June 11, Keng Du Border Guard Station (Nghe An Border Guard) announced that the unit has just issued a decision to prosecute a criminal case against a subject for illegally storing drugs.

Previously, at around 7:05 p.m. on June 9, Keng Du Border Guard Station presided over and coordinated with Na Loi Border Guard Station and Keng Du Commune Police to arrest Luong Pho Lan, born in 1969, residing in Huoi Le village, Keng Du commune, Ky Son district, for illegally possessing drugs. The seized evidence included 8 pills (0.8 grams) of synthetic drugs.

The unit has completed the file, decided to prosecute the criminal case and handed it over to Ky Son District Police to continue investigating and handling according to regulations.

Nam Dan District Police have just successfully destroyed an inter-district drug trafficking den, arrested 1 subject, seized 4.9 grams of crystal meth, and 2 drug use cups.

On June 6, 2022, the Task Force arrested Nguyen Thanh Dong, born in 1986, residing in Hamlet 8, Nam Anh Commune, Nam Dan District. At the same time, searching Dong's residence in Tan Phong Hamlet, Thanh Khai Commune, Thanh Chuong District, the authorities seized many packages containing crystal meth weighing 4.9 grams, 02 drug use cups, 01 ATM card and 900,000 VND.

At the police station, Nguyen Thanh Dong initially confessed that he bought the drugs from Thanh Chuong district and divided them into small pieces to sell to addicts in Nam Dan, Thanh Chuong and Hung Nguyen districts.
