Police and soldiers wade through mud to help people in the border commune of Tri Le (Nghe An) rebuild their houses after the flood.

After the circulation of storm No. 3, the border commune of Tri Le suffered heavy damage, including 8 houses of local people being buried by mud... The local government quickly coordinated with the police, military, and border guards to urgently support people to overcome the consequences, rebuild their houses, and soon stabilize their lives.

Mr. Lo Minh Diep - Chairman of Tri Le Commune People's Committee, said that due to the impact of storm No. 3, 8 households in the commune had their houses collapsed, including 4 houses in Huoi Moi village, 3 houses in Na Hoc village and 1 house in another village. Up to now, the authorities have helped people rebuild 3 houses, but 5 houses have not been repaired due to thick mud and landslides on the roads, making it difficult to bring in machinery. Currently, the units are urgently leveling the roads, and using rudimentary tools to open the roads.
