Da Nang police inform female journalist of exit ban
Colonel Nguyen Duc Dung, Chief of General Staff (Da Nang Police) informed about the exit ban of female journalist Duong Thi Hang Nga.
At the press conference this morning of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, Ms. Duong Thi Hang Nga, Head of the GTVT Magazine office in Da Nang, asked about being banned from leaving the country by the City Police.
Colonel Nguyen Duc Dung said: In early 2017, Da Nang Police received a criminal complaint against citizen Duong Thi Hang Nga.
According to Mr. Dung, in accordance with the regulations on handling crime reports, the City Police have taken the correct steps. This process is supervised by the City People's Procuracy.

Colonel Dung added that during the investigation process, following Decree 176 of the Government and Circular 21 of the Ministry of Public Security, the City Police Department issued a 3-month exit ban for citizen Duong Thi Hang Nga.
“The security investigation agency has acted within its authority and in accordance with the law to serve the investigation. The exit ban is correct, there is nothing wrong with it,” said Colonel Dung.
Currently, Ms. Nga's recommendations are being responded to by the competent authorities.
It is known that Ms. Hang Nga is the author of many articles about a large real estate project in Da Nang in recent times.
