Dong Police 'Street in the Village' reveals about his wife who is a famous VTV MC

As a husband, admitting your mistakes for the sake of family peace is okay.

- You have been married for almost a year, how do you feel about married life compared to when you were single?

After 1 year of marriage, the biggest change I see compared to when I was single is "two bodies".(laugh).First of all, my thinking has changed a lot. I am reconciling and balancing family and work. When I was alone, I was free to drink and go out at night, not caring about what the future would bring, but now that I have a small family and two large families, I know how to think more about the future. I am also responsible, dedicated to my work, and trying to have a better future. Currently, I am trying to improve myself so that work and family are always happy.

- The time when you were still newlyweds must have been very sweet, what do you like most when doing it with your wife?

Now when I go to work or go out, when I meet acquaintances, people often tease me: "How is your married life?". I answer: "Still very happy". People continue: "Just got married, just wait!". I answer: "I myself cannot be sure of anything in the future, but I feel happy and always try my best in the present moment. I always keep in mind that when we just got married, we will be happy and joyful".

We have been in love and married for 2 years now, right at the time it happened.CovidSo we stick together all day. We go to the market and cook together, discuss social issues, visit relatives at home, share about work and give each other advice. I like it best when I read the script and ask my wife to speak along. At times like that, she is as serious as a director, but every time we finish practicing, my wife and I laugh heartily.

During the quarantine period, my husband and I occasionally filmed funny clips and posted them on social media, then read the comments and laughed together. So when we were together, time flew by.

-Thuy LinhIs being a wife different from being a lover?

When my wife was still my girlfriend, her personality was not much different from now. She was always gentle, smart, slept a lot, and when she did something, she was very focused and enthusiastic. I admired her for her concentration and had to learn from her. The biggest difference is that if my wife used to be clumsy in the kitchen, now she has become a real chef. She cooks many delicious dishes that make me addicted to her cooking.

The couple always give in to each other to keep the family peaceful.

- It seems like at home you are the one who gives in to your wife?

In my opinion, a happy family needs to care and share, fulfill personal responsibilities, respect each other, finances and tolerance are also indispensable spices. Family life will inevitably have disagreements because two independent individuals live together, one is strong and the other is gentle. Currently, my wife and I are balancing this very well. I always think, when the couple is stressed, I am the husband, there are many things I am right, just admit my mistakes for the sake of a peaceful marriage, what does it cost? After both of us calm down, I talk gently with my wife, analyze together to understand better.

I miss my dad a lot when I play a new role.

- During the social distancing period, was your work affected much?

The Covid-19 pandemic has created difficulties for the whole world, not just me. Everything has slowed down, most of the work has been suspended, the biggest impact is still on the economy. But this is also a time for me to rest, re-evaluate everything to plan for the future.

Hieu Su plays the role of handsome police officer Duong Vien Dong.

- I heard you are going to participate in a new film project soon?

I was very lucky to be in the movie "Street in the village" by director Meritorious Artist Mai Hien, premiered at the end of October. The film is about three commune policemen. In the film, you will see a real story in the countryside built and told by director Mai Hien in a realistic, friendly, cheerful, humorous way. Besides, the film also emphasizes family affection, very touching love between boys and girls.

- The first time you played the role of a police officer, did you encounter any difficulties?

In this film, I play the role of Dong - a police officer working in an office in the province who is transferred to the commune. Being an only child, Dong is protected by his family, which affects his personality, causing many problems revolving around work, family, and even love.

Before that, I also played the role of a soldier, so I understood the discipline and general spirit of a soldier. Of course, when playing a police officer, there will be other special characteristics, so when I had the opportunity to do it, I learned about the industry's regulations and observed how police officers walk and talk. Fortunately, director Mai Hien helped me integrate better into the character.

- What was your most memorable scene in this film project?

The most memorable scenes I participated in in the film were the scenes with my father, played by People's Artist Quoc Tri. The times my father cared for me and spoke from the heart really moved me and reminded me of my deceased father.

- What do you expect from this new role?

After this role, I really thank director Mai Hien and the crew for creating conditions for me to learn, improve my knowledge and experience this particularly interesting new character. I hope that many audiences will support the film as well as the role of Dong in "Street in the village".
